What’s World Health Day?
The date of 7th April marks the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948, as a result World Health Day is celebrated every year on this day. WHO – World Health Organisation, is the United Nations Agency that connects nations, partners, and people to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable – so everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health.
Around the world, the right to health of millions is increasingly coming under threat.
Conflicts are devastating lives, causing death, pain, hunger, and psychological distress.
The burning of fossil fuels is simultaneously driving the climate crisis and taking away our right to breathe clean air, with indoor and outdoor air pollution claiming a life every 5 seconds.
The WHO Council on the Economics of Health for All has found that although at least 140 countries recognize health as a human right in their constitution, only 4 countries have mentioned how to finance it.
To address these types of challenges, the theme for World Health Day 2024 is 'My health, my right’.
This year’s theme was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.

Vitamins are captured in their all-natural fresh base, offering dramatic results as actual seeds, pulps and peels impart regenerative and healing powers that only nature can produce.
As a result of this green approach Eminence is constantly looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint. Eminence uses wind energy and solar power energy in the making of our products and plant a tree for every product sold.

- Eco-friendly software system means less printed invoices.
Green Offices
- Letterhead printed on post-consumer recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.
- All paper used in the office is recycled.
- Office space is designed as an eco-alternative building.
Transportation and Distribution
- Courier company uses hybrid vehicles.
- Large shipments are sent on trucks running biodiesel made from recycled household vegetable oil.
- Products are shipped by air with Lufthansa – the leading airline in the fight against climate change.
