These professional (or amateur) artists of make-up need to make sure their “canvas” is perfect before applying the look they want to achieve. START STRONG And CLEANSE:

MUA Top Tip - Start with a cleanser that will give you a deep cleanse, removing any previous make up, products and sunscreens, but make sure the cleanser doesn’t strip away your skin’s natural oils. These natural oils help to keep your skin smoother and moisturised, if they are removed then the skin can look, dull, rough and dry.
MUA Top Product – Stone Crop Cleansing Oil is amongst the most popular and favourite cleanser for MUA’s. It works on all skin types including oily! It thoroughly removes dirt, make-up, debris, sunscreen etc. and can be used as a full make-up remover as you can use it on the eye area too. For MUA’s this can be a life saver if you haven’t brought your Herbal Eye Make-Up Remover or if you just don’t have room in your kit for the extra product!
TONE And HYDRATE:
MUA Top Tip A – Hydrated skin is a must; it helps the make up sit on the skin better and if you are a fan of Eminence you will know our Toniques and Mists are the first step in hydration. They are alcohol free so don’t dry the skin, instead they soothe and hydrate which is ideal for a pre make-up routine.
MUA Top Tip B – Not only are Toniques and Mists a must before a make-up application but they can help to “set” the make-up afterwards. A few spritzes especially over mineral make-up and your look will stay fresher for longer.
